Ollie’s tip on applying the Alexander Technique for April is to “Choose Happiness”. If we think positively about how we would like to be, or if we define ourselves by what is healthy, instead of broken, we can more easily listen to the wisdom of our body. It knows what it needs, and if we can create the space and time to listen to it, then we can gently and kindly let go of what ever is holding us back.
This is the basis of the Alexander Technique. To run new pathways of use in our body and mind. We need to kindly and gently recognise the old patterns and habits and create the space for the new and connected.
